Last year, over 1,000 parents, grandparents, and caregivers across Boulder, Weld, and Broomfield Counties participated in programs – building skills, confidence, and meaningful community connections.
- We hosted 20 community events and programs that increased understanding of key initiatives and left participants feeling more confident and effective in their parenting.
- 20 Parent Ambassadors, representing 18 schools, hosted 8 book groups (95 participants) and met monthly to share strategies, support families, and build leadership.
- 300 Community members came to learn, share, and deepen cultural connections at Celebrate Together! ¡Celebrando Juntos!
Since 2001, PEN has supported parents in raising happy, healthy humans, reaching 25,000+ parents, caregivers, families, and educators across two school districts. Together, we’re building a strong foundation of connection and support that strengthens our greater community.
Your participation and support makes this possible – we are truly grateful. |
Spotlight: Climate Resilience Workshop |
In January, Parent Engagement Network and Hope Coalition of Boulder County joined forces with Climate Emotional Resilience Institute (CERI) to bring our community heart-centered, climate-focused programs designed for parents. |
"It was wonderful. I really appreciated hearing everything in one place, it felt part of a really well-constructed storyline. And well facilitated!" – Deryn, Parent
"Being a parent and engaging in global negotiations and national resilience efforts makes it a necessity and not just a nice to have. So thank you for these offerings which are so needed in the world right now." - Sarah, Parent
|
|
During the 75-minute basics workshop, the CERI team explored ways of building climate resilience in families. Participants learned grounding practices to share with kids, gained an understanding of how to have hard conversations, and were supported in taking meaningful action. |
Together, we’re building stronger families and more connected communities! |
