Welcome Interim Director, Melanie Piazza |
The Board of Directors of Parent Engagement Network is overjoyed to welcome Melanie Piazza as our Interim Director. Melanie brings a deep commitment to building a safer, more supported, and better-resourced world for parents.
Originally from Seattle and a graduate of Santa Clara University, Melanie began her career as a corporate buyer before shifting her focus to supporting families. Drawing on both her professional background and her own early parenting challenges, she formed Family Village, a cooperative co-working, childcare and community center that served parents across Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins for eight years. |
|
Melanie believes parents are not meant to serve as an entire village for their children — and that connecting parents with resources, information, and each other is key to finding resilience and satisfaction in parenting. She is honored to join PEN as the organization continues its mission of supporting parents in raising happy, healthy humans.
Melanie lives in Longmont with her husband, their daughter and son, two rescue dogs, and a feisty senior cat.
Please join us in warmly welcoming Melanie to the PEN family! |
